When I reply to somebody, how come I can't see my reply?

Sometimes mine are grayed out for a bit, then appear. I don't know if it needs to be "recommended" by another user first or what. I mostly just lurk now because of this.

Not greyed, just not there at all. You hit submit, and it disappears. You can go back later and hit "All replies" and see it, but I would think that you would be able to see—and more importantly, edit—your comments right away.

Hey ttyy, were you able to see the comment you replied to by regular means? Or did you have to go into your profile to find it? I think this might be a 'group chat' issue for you. What method do you go about replying currently? Thanks!

I click in the box below the comment and start typing. It might simply be a time lag issue between when I hit Publish and the Reply actually posts. After reloading the page a few times, or leaving and coming back, the Reply eventually appears. I'll hit Publish on this one, see what happens, then reply again with the results.

After hitting Publish, this is what I see. It just returns to this look.

When I hit Reply again to make this post, my initial reply became visible.

This may just be the way it works. But it would be nice to see your reply post right away.

So it's not that you're not able to see a reply, just not able to see it immediately?

Yes. It just disappears, and you get no cue that it's posted.

If I hit "Reply" to your original post then it appears. But I still can't edit it.
